Synopsis

Over 20 years experience in acoustics about two-thirds of which has been spent in consultancy following nearly seven years working for a local authority. He has experience of measuring, predicting, controlling, and assessing noise from many different sources including noise in the workplace and environmental noise for both the construction and operation phases of a variety of developments.

In addition to producing assessments and reports he has experience as an expert witness and has appeared for private and public sector clients in Public Inquiries and the courts.

He was a former member of the Noise Working Parties of the Institute of Environmental Assessment and of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
